Ismail is a bi-lingual with over 20 years’ experience in development and organizational work as well as business environment with vast experience in Administration and finance, Research, Project management, monitoring and evaluation, Policy formulation, fisheries, value chain development and business and communication. Among Ismail’s rich experience includes: –

Except for fulltime positions Ismail also either led or take pivotal role for over 90 consultancy assignments include monitoring and evaluations both mid and end line, surveys, researches, feasibility studies, organizational developments, due-diligences and trainings. With a Master of Development Studies, Master of Business administration with several diplomas, certificates.

As CEO, Ismail offers strategic direction to the versatile team at SVCD, and is the key and focal point in designing programmatic work and assigning duties to a strong team of consultants, programme and administrative staff. It is his preserve to make major decisions at the corporate level, be in charge overall in the management of operations, finances. Consequently, he supervises and offers guidance to all teams for quality control and adherence in order to set the standards for efficient delivery of services within set timelines.

Ismail is native in Somali, fluent in English and proficient in Arabic.
